Everything JobGate does
Every feature is included for every firm, at £5 per worker per month with a £30 minimum. Choose any feature to read how it works on site and in the office.
Signing in on site
Time and location at the scan, and everything a new arrival needs to know.
A QR code on the site door is the clock-in. Each scan records who, when and where the phone is at that moment. Then it stops looking.
02Site information and emergency detailsEverything a new arrival needs before they set foot on site: the address and parking, the access route, welfare, the fire assembly point, restricted areas and the site plan, all on the page they open from the door sign.
03Visitors and the gate tabletVisitors sign in on their own phone or on a tablet at the gate, agree the site rules and appear on the register. Book them in advance and you are told when they arrive.
04The operative's phoneEach operative gets their own page with a big clock-in button, their hours, their to-do list and messages from the office. It works in 23 languages, with gloves on and with no signal.
05Live site registerWho's on site right now, across every job, on any phone or PC. For the office and the site manager, and your fire roll-call.
Signed paperwork and safety
Signed on site before work starts, and sent straight to the office.
Nobody is cleared to work until they've read and signed the RAMS, confirmed the COSHH sheets, agreed the site rules and done the daily check. Every step is named, timed and kept.
07Tamper-evident PDF recordsSolid evidence that the paperwork was done before the work. Every RAMS acknowledgement, permit, daily check and sign-in is kept as a named, time-stamped record, and sent to you as a PDF every Monday.
08Permits to workHot works, isolations and other high-risk tasks requested from site, approved by a named person, signed by the people doing the work and closed when it is finished, with every step timed and saved as a PDF.
09Accident book and RIDDORAccidents written up properly: what happened, witnesses, photos, first aid, investigation and actions, signed by the injured person. JobGate tells you whether it is reportable to the HSE under RIDDOR, and when.
10Hazards and near missesSee something? Report it in seconds, with a photo. Hazards and near misses go to the right person, move through clear stages and are chased if they are left.
11Inspections and your own checklistsA weekly site inspection, plus checklists you build yourself, such as scaffold checks or hand-over checks. Problems become tasks, and every inspection is saved as a PDF and sent to your office.
12Machine and plant checksA QR tag on each tower, MEWP and saw. Scan it before use: no valid card, not a named operator, or a fault reported, and use is refused. Every check, refusal and fault is logged.
Office and pay
Hours, payroll and the paperwork behind them.
Every sign-in lands in the weekly timesheet, per person and per job. The office checks the flags instead of chasing paper.
14Payroll exports and CISApproved hours go straight to payroll in the format your software expects, with a CIS sheet for subcontractors and self-employed operatives showing labour, deduction and net to pay.
15Monthly safety summary and Ask JobGateA sealed monthly safety summary PDF in your inbox, and plain-English questions about your own records answered in seconds.
Team and subcontractors
Cards, insurance and contact details in one place.
CSCS, IPAF, PASMA and more, scanned from a photo. One grid of who holds what, with warnings before anything expires, and a register you can send to a main contractor.
17Subcontractors and insuranceA private upload link for each subcontractor's RAMS, insurance and accreditations. Insurance is read from the certificate, checked against your minimum cover, and renewals are chased automatically.
18Your branding, team access and securityYour logo and colours on site pages, door signs and records. Office users and site managers see what they need, every change is shown to the office, and office accounts are protected with two-step login.
